SUMMER BREAK 1989! Richie's absolute favorite time is summer break, but ever since he's developed some feelings for his best friend Eddie, things have been a bit more complicated, and a lot more awkward.
Growing up in a homophobic town with a homophobic mom, homophobic bullies, and basically homophobic everything else, Eddie just can't admit that he likes Richie. But after a while, Eddie starts making discoveries about his town, Richie, and himself that will change his life forever...
