Finally Clove was free. She was experiencing a life outside her cell for the first time and that happened to be on the ground-which was not what she thought it would be like. She could finally be free and live a life she dreamt of but when a new threat arises after the battle with the Grounders, Clove becomes lost in every sense. She finds herself torn between the instinct to survive and the desire to truly live.

Trapped within the walls of Mount Weather, where secrets and lies are feed to you like chocolate cake, Clove began to question everything about the place. Determined to uncover the truth about Mount Weather, Clove is willing to risk it all. As dark secrets are discovered, Clove joins forces with Clarke and with an unlikely ally from their past they work together in a desperate attempt to escape Mount Weather. But once they get out things only seem to get worse for Clove.

As tensions escalate and loyalties are tested, Clove wrestles with her past and the weight of choices that could change everything. In a world where love and sacrifice are intertwine, she will discover what it truly means to fight for her place in a story that is far from over. Along the way, Clove is struck with the harsh reality of emotions and loyalty, in a place where alliances shift like the ground beneath their feet, Clove must decide what matters most: the thrill of love or the comfort of friendship.
