Sophie is so sick of it. All the secrecy. All the death and destruction. All in her wake. The Black Swan's wake. She can barely manage with the burden of her very existence. The Black Swan created Sophie Foster years ago, before the Elven World and the Neverseen were even a glint of Sophie's time. But nothing good ever lasts. At 17, Sophie has more scars, more struggles, more abilities and more blood on her hands than even the eldest Councilor will ever have to bear. Sure, she has her friends, and her family, but they don't understand half of her struggles. Only one other friend of hers gets it. The one who's been with her through all of the pain. Keefe.

Sophie and Keefe bare the same burdens. So that means they have the same urge to run away from this life to save themselves and their friends. Then again, whats stopping them?
