Mortal Light was originally a comic series I was going to make with a friend, though the comic is in production limbo atm and I don't know when or if it'll ever come to fruition. In the meantime, it'd be a shame to let the characters I love so much go to waste. The plan is to write about 10 chapters detailing the character's lives before the start of the comic, and hopefully

Forty years ago, the world ended at the hands of the Monarch of the Abyss, such a being spread it's accursed powers across the world and brought humanity to the brink of extinction.
