Romance
"O Rose, thou art sick." Waiting. Walking. Sitting. Waiting some more. Such is the life of a wilting flower, an innocent young life slipping away in its prime. Also known as Luka Harper, a scared young boy who can't quite figure out who these mysterious figures are, and why they keep coming for him. His doctors tried explaining, "It's all in your head, Luka. You have Schizophrenia." He knew that, of course. It's a lot easier said than experienced. His parents jumped off that sinking ship, leaving him in the care of the psychiatrists and social workers. Luka is on his own, despite an army of therapists and psychologists and these doctors and those. He is alone in the sense that everyone around him is paid to care, alone with the knowledge that it's their job to smile and say "You won't feel a thing." In every other regards, he has been forsaken. 'Is there anyone,' He wonders, 'That would ever love a broken soul such as myself?' (Hi... First story, please give it a shot?)

How will he cope with a rising taste for a blonde boy who managed the earth on his fingertips like crushed berries. Will he learn to love himself? Or will he allow his doubt to control him and his sprouting relationship? "Taste me in crimson so that when we taste no more, when age will turn our buds sour and memories hazy, that I have hope to scour my letterbox and find you wrapped pristine silk, next to an image of June. Within your eyes, euphoric." Acknowledgements 1# slice of life 15/01/21 23# closeted 15/01/21
