(A/N: This is essentially going to be a process of fixing + improving Lean on Us, a pre-existing fic on my page, as I'm not too happy with how it came out as the years go by. After Luka's painful pining experience over Marinette Dupain-Chang, he pretty much gives up on romance and prioritizes being there for the ones he loves and putting their needs above his own. He begins to attract attention as the band Kitty Section picks up some major traction, leading him to feel the need to repress any hurt he's feeling himself. As this happens, (Y/N) transfers into Marinette's class upon being adopted by their uncle due to the sudden death of their parents. (Y/N) is still moving on and dealing with the repercussions of their mother and father's passing when Juleka introduces (Y/N) to Luka at their band rehearsal. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend. He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship. Cosmo sobbed into Sprouts shoulder as the taller boy softly whispered soft words and rubbed his back. "It's okay... Everything's going to be okay... We'll go back up and get Dandy..." Sprout kissed Cosmo's forehead as the boy continued to cry. "I promise that everything will be alright..." Cosmo looked up at Sprout, one shedding tears whilst the other sheds ichor. "You pro-mise...?" Sprout stays silent for a bit, thinking about how he CAN'T do anything but say sweet nothings. "...I promise. So please stay, I still want you." Cosmo nods as they continue to hug each other... Not knowing the things they'll go through.
