Wealth was a confusing word in the City of Survivors.
People guarded it from being lost on costly vegetables. They stole it from others by slowly making them dependent on themselves and then using their money. They gave it in donations to life and health insurance companies hoping that their future would be spent in hospitals because they were too tight-fisted to spend it on ambience, beauty and travel. They stopped others who did so. Then when they lost it, they prayed to the Goddess of Wealth and stayed in poverty. Or in order to show class and status, they made it flow in bucketful, during fat weddings of dollop-thick daughters and sons. But a new market and a new thought process created by the Consciousness God would bring wealth, well-being and capital to Kippa, Pavami and Arya, in a small story-drama called The First Storey Of Wealth.
