Hailey, a brilliant scientist and inventor who is prone to fantasy becomes caught in a battle against a large corporation over the pollution of her small town.  Her research ends when she accidentally stops time on Christmas eve night when toxic river sludge is exposed to a freak accident in her laboratory.  The biggest surprise in store for Hailey is not her alteration of time, or even that doing so causes a sleigh full of men who claim to be Santa's elves to come to her house to learn how a human could stop time just as they do in order to deliver their annual supply of toys around the world.  No, Hailey's biggest surprise is when a tall, handsome, and mysterious elf elects to stay with her to uncover the secrets of time control and the magical creatures who have lived alongside Hailey her whole life without her knowledge. 
Hailey discovers throughout her adventures with the elf that he controls time through the regulation of his autonomic nervous system, an ability she finds she can manipulate through her own powers of seduction and arousal.  Sparks bright enough to keep the two lovers warm on even the coldest of December nights are ignited as they search for answers around Hailey's town, and the two discover heated love triangles, secret admirers, devious plots and untold powers of science and magic.  

This is a finished story, 22 chapters in length.  Chapters will be released once a week on Wednesday.

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
