In an Alternate Universe where Percy grew up knowing the myths, knowing the gods are real, and one night after his step-father Gabe deals him the worst of the beatings he's given, Percy prays to Apollo, the Protector of Youth, God of Healing, the sun, for help. For relief. And how could Apollo ignore such a prayer from a child?

This was an idea sparked in the middle of the night, helped along by some lovely people in the discord server for the series A Family Built on the Weary &lt;3
I might be slow to update, but I'll do my best if this is something y'all like! This fic will deal with some heavy topics such as Child and Spousal abuse, child death (demigods), and others. Take care of yourselves and don't read if this may trigger you.
