In an Alternate Universe where Percy grew up knowing the myths, knowing the gods are real, and one night after his step-father Gabe deals him the worst of the beatings he's given, Percy prays to Apollo, the Protector of Youth, God of Healing, the sun, for help. For relief. And how could Apollo ignore such a prayer from a child?

It ends up changing everything

I might be slow to update, but I'll do my best if this is something y'all like! This fic will deal with some heavy topics such as Child and Spousal abuse, child death (demigods), and others. Take care of yourselves and don't read if this may trigger you.

The war is over; Percy Jackson hopes to breathe a sigh of relief and have his happily ever after with Annabeth Chase. In comes Gwen - a daughter of Venus, claiming to be Octavian's sister. When her lies and accusations threaten to create a rift between the newly formed Alliance between the Greeks and Romans, Chiron and Annabeth think it best to banish Percy from camp to avoid war. Devastated from the betrayal, miserable as he has nowhere to go, he stumbles across an ancient deity in a secluded forest while going nowhere in particular. The deity offers Percy a job. A job that requires a lot of killing the bad guys. But does Percy feel too bitter and broken to do good? Meanwhile another deity is planning revenge on someone. This deity emanates raw power and is considered one of the most powerful in the universe. And he wishes to attack earth. Camp half-blood precisely. When a nefarious plot threatens Earth, what side will the now banished hero of Olympus choose? With the enemy so powerful and the campers so hopelessly outnumbered, and with the option of revenge available, will he snap? Will the ghosts of his past haunt him? Or will he conquer them and go on to win the war for the ones that betrayed him? Will he abandon his family? Will he choose vengeance over forgiveness? Will the campers pay for their treachery? Or will their hero once again try to save the day in such a suicidal war? Find out only in "Percy Jackson and The Council's Army" - a book full of twists and turns till the end. PLEASE READ THE REWRITE INSTEAD OF THIS. THIS IS ONLY UP UNTIL THE REWRITE IS COMPLETED. PLEASE READ THE REWRITE TO PREVENT LOSING THE BOOK BEFORE YOU'RE DONE. Veronica Westcourt didn't like Camp Half-Blood. She didn't like the fact that she hadn't left in years, or that her father, Dionysus, was so overprotective. She didn't like how others had so many friends and besides her siblings, she only talked to a few girls. She didn't like certain people, especially Percy Jackson. It was that simple. Veronica didn't like Percy, and it was clear that the feeling was at least partially mutual. She didn't like his blonde friend, either. She didn't like many people he associated himself with. But she really didn't like him. So when she ends up on a quest with him, she's less than thrilled. Eventually, she caves and talks to him. This leads to walls being broken, people being broken, and more things being broken. Veronica did always have a gift for making people go crazy. Maybe this time, she could find herself going crazy... though perhaps a different kind of crazy. 1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan.
