Kyle remembered that day every waking moment after it happened.
The memory was a thick fog that hung over him, coating every pore, every inch of flesh and bone in his body. He'd never forget what happened, how he accidentally killed his soulmate.
It was a freak accident, it wasn't meant to happen.
It wasn't Kyle's fault. But god, it felt like it.
