After being freed from Guardian, Nigella desires only one thing: to escape.
She wants to leave that planet behind and start over somewhere else, far from the place that has only brought her pain throughout her life, so she can finally dedicate herself to studying history, as she has always dreamed.
But before she can do that, she needs money and work experience, and the Training Center for former Pets seems to be just the right fit for her.
Mimea, on the other hand, wants a normal life for herself and her son-a life where she is not a Pet enslaved to the whims of her clients, but simply Mimea.
Determined to integrate into Amoii society, she turns to the Training Center to receive the education she needs to live independently.
In the classrooms, the two grow closer, and as time passes, separating might become increasingly difficult.
