I imagine many of you know the term "Freak Circus", it's not new; long ago these were part of the world as such, showing "strange" humans in the eyes of others. What if that concept resurfaced? We're not talking about just any circus, we're talking about the Amazing Digital Circus! A circus very different from the rest, with its clowns, magicians, sword swallowers and other circus members will show you a new definition of normality. Of course, even the happiest places have their dark, gloomy and even disturbing areas... 🎪In this AU Caine, Ponmi and others will have the appearances of the series. 🎪The Amazing Digital Circus exists physically outside of virtual space. 🎪References to psychological disorders and suicide.

"And finally, Jax!" I scanned the crowd, searching for this 'Jax'. "Uh..." Gloved hands grabbed my shoulders and turned me around. Standing there was the rabbit I saw earlier. "'Sup, mousie," Jax said, leaning his body against my short figure-which reached up to his chest-placing an arm atop my head. I looked at my hands. When I moved my arm, the avatar moved along with it, black gloves moving at the same time as I did. Gently, I pressed my hands to my eyes, and- Nothing. The headset was gone. "What the @$_&." I clawed at my face, trying to remove the piece of technology. "Where did it go?" I pulled at my skin, trying to feel something, anything that was there, but nothing. Just skin. "Just keep pulling at it, it always works, mousie," Jax said, patting my cheek. I glared up at him. "Shut the @$&+ up." ~•~•~ The first thing I remembered when I came here was falling. Then I come here and I'm still falling. I bought some VR headset, put it on, and it cost me my future. Now, I'm stuck with people who aren't exactly people, an teeth-and-eyeball AI, and some annoying periwinkle rabbit. I've become a little muse of a mouse, supposed to be some sort of artistic inspiration. Yeah, right. But music is my safe space, and I was sent here with a flute and a purpose: to bring sound to the circus. I can either become the conductor or let people see me as nothing more than a statue in some museum. Joining them are six other avatars embodying unique individuals: Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger, Zooble, Kaufmo, and the enigmatic Jax. As panic ensues, Y/n desperately attempts to remove the VR set, her hands grappling with the unfamiliar device. The more she struggles, the clearer it becomes that something is awry. Jax. With a sly grin, he observes Y/n's futile attempts to free herself. Instead of offering assistance, Jax takes pleasure in tormenting her, finding amusement in her predicament. It becomes evident that, in this surreal digital realm, Jax's antics serve a purpose beyond mere entertainment. . . . But what unfolds when Y/n gradually loses her footing, and Jax tumbles harder onto her? . . . . . It was here that Caine puts these seven humans through relentless and sometimes quite traumatic adventures. Seeing no other choice, Haruhito is forced to learn to adapt and survive in his new environment, facing challenges and terrors that may push him to the brink. Luckily, he's not alone as he works with the others to survive.
