"Let me make one thing perfectly clear - I can't stand Emerson Rose. She's loud. She's irritating. She talks back. She hexed me in third year and claimed it was an 'accident.' (It wasn't.) And for some reason, everyone at Hogwarts thinks we're destined to end up together. As if I'd ever fall for someone who laughs at my robes, drinks firewhisky like water, and once told me I had the emotional range of a teaspoon. (Whatever that means.) But here's the problem: The more I avoid her, the more she shows up. In my classes. In my nightmares. In my bloody thoughts. So if you're here expecting a love story - don't. This isn't about falling. It's about fighting. And maybe, accidentally, losing control somewhere in between." - Draco Malfoy ◇ "Congratulations, Malfoy - you just gave the most dramatic monologue Hogwarts has ever seen. All that effort, and I'm still not impressed. You talk a lot for someone who wouldn't know what to do with me even if I handed you instructions." - Emerson Rose ◇ - Enemies to Lovers - Story contains explicit language - Alcohol use, magical mayhem, and poor decisions - Explicit scenes & one smug Slytherin losing his grip

Ever since Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy had come to Number Four, Privet Drive for the summer, the Dursleys had been so mean and hideous that all the boys wanted to do was get back to Hogwarts. But then, an old friend of Draco's pays the duo a visit, bearing a warning that Harry Potter must not return to Hogwarts; that their second year will be even more dangerous than their first. And dangerous it is: in Harry's and Draco's second year, they meet an outrageously stuck-up new professor, a spirit who haunts the girls' bathroom, and they keep running into people after they've been Petrified. It doesn't look good for Harry, that's for certain; but why does Draco keep finding them?
