Helldivers 2 X Murder Drones.
During the war with the Illuminate, Copper 9 was a world near the border of Illuminate territory and was used to study their technology. Built up with a large drone force to help with the construction of the world infrastructure, several of these drones were also used to test out Illuminate weapons and dark fluids.
However, as the war progressed, the Illuminate attacked Copper 9, resulting in massive levels of damage to the planet itself. And the human population was forced to flee, leaving behind the drones on the known toxic and breaking planet.
Many years later, after the war, Super Earth's eyes are back on Copper 9, and several Helldivers are sent to Copper 9.
Yet they are not alone... And discover a hidden history of humanity.
