"What are you, a ninja?" he screamed.

"That's a pretty good guess," she spat.

"B-but they don't even exist!" For the first time in his life, fear filled his eyes.

"Not in your world," Xavia hissed. "Not in the minds of people who believe everything they're told. Not beyond textbooks and boring lectures. But that's because cowards like you never question anything."
