Half Hero ⚡️ {Superhero Adventure Scifi}
I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise). I'm only 25 and my career choices have been limited to hero or villain. WTF?!? Indie Author Fangirl Moments: 1. SHORTLISTED FOR A 2021 Watty (WTF?!?) 2. A FEATURED STORY ON WATTPAD'S SUPERHERO LIST: GIRL POWER! 3. FIRST PLACE WINNER IN THE 2021 PUNK ROCK AWARDS, ACTION & ADVENTURE CATEGORYComplete
The Powers We Have
WARNING: this story includes death ~~•~~ What superpower would you want? Invisibility? Flight? Shape shifting? There are countless powers! Countless possibilities!!! And my power, is to talk to gnomes. ...no not the little garden things. Gnomes are the creatures that are your conscious. Kinda like the old cartoon devil and angel. Everyone has a gnome, and each gnome has their own personality. Gnomes are invisible to everyone except for people who have the power to talk to them. I have a gnome and their name is Kade. Kade is very mischievous and we get along well. But...my power isn't anything special. I can just see little creatures, what good is that?! And now my parents have decided to sent me to a school to strengthen my 'power'. I've been homeschooled my entire life and have been saved from the embarrassment of sharing my power. I already know my power sucks! I don't need a school to tell me that. But now I'm here. Just me and Kade, Against the world. ~~•~~ This story is about a hero who is very kind and outgoing and always looks out for everyone, A hero who never gives themself credit and is struggling to figure out who they really are, And a hero who once had happiness and love, and threw it all away. And that's Canon (Cover art is not mine, I just added the title) This work belongs to me, @Seth189. I reserve the rights to this work and please do not repost it. It takes me a long time to come up with this stuff and it would be better to write your own work!! If you see this story on any other site besides Wattpad, it is not mine. I only post on Wattpad.Complete

Heroes at Heart
"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. But most of us are Heroes at Heart. (Based on a writing prompt / story request by tumblr user "fallingivy")Complete
