Kellin hates life....if that's what you want to call it. Nothing is great where he lives but no one else really thinks so. I mean how great can Hell be? But you would think it would be comfortable enough for someone who is the son of the devil but no. Kellin hates his life. He's destined to be the next ruler of Hell, something he really doesn't want. His father is a cruel bastard, he's gay and even the devil himself won't allow it, he has no friends, no lover, so what does he do to escape? He continuously commits suicide. Of course he comes right back but hey it passes the time and knocks him out long enough to feel the tip of death's fingers. All this and yet meeting a boy by the name of Vic changes it all.

Vic (20) is being sent to a mental institution and is not happy about it. Its for his own good, so his family says. There's so many things that's wrong with him, but doesn't want to believe it. When he's roommates with Kellin (18), a boy who doesn't like to talk to anyone, and is isolated and closed off, spends most of his time drawing; Vic doesn't know what's wrong with his roommate, he simply thinks that Kellin's insane, and that he doesn't belong with someone like Kellin. Vic doesn't think he needs to be in that place at all. But they are forced to spend time with each other. Until the two boys make an unlikely connection they never saw coming. Warnings: I'm saying this now, and it goes toward the entire story; there are going to be a lot of references to suicide and self harm and other mental illnesses and things associated with them so if that makes you uncomfortable then don't read. Alcohol killed his dad so him and his brother don't drink, Vic has the fear of becoming his father. The two met at a bar, not any bar though, Cashby's! The only reason Vic is there is because it's one of his friend's birthday. Kellin doesn't tell him his age until a few weeks later, but it's not his real age. He goes by twenty three, even though he's sixteen. The ID is a real one, Jesse made it along with some other documents.
