Everything was normal until the Vampires took over. Everything was happy and everyone was together. Then began the vampire takeover. Deciding they no longer wished to be hidden in the darkness, they began their rule over the humans. They separated them based on status. The rich were allowed to keep their lives somewhat the same, the poor were often plucked off the streets to be slaves or even a midnight snack. They took control over everything, between where you work, where you're allowed to live, going out at night, having friends, they stole the freedom from right under us.
Serenity didn't realize this until she became the victim of the destructive nature of the blood sucking leeches, the ones who ripped her family away, and one in particular she doesn't quite understand. She finally got back on her feet, but everything is taken right back from under her again, what does this mean for poor Serenity Bourgeois?
