When Nathan gets a call in the middle of the night, he puts down his rum and coke on the bar. Sweat building up in his palms, he answers the phone. "Hello?" he says. His friends begin to give him confused look.
"Nathan," Jackson whispers. Nathan's breath hitches.
"Love? What's wrong?"
"The baby... it's coming," Jackson cries. Nathan begins to cry. His life. His love. His legacy. Everything leading up to this moment. His child.
Before Nathan can say anything else, Jackson says the words that make Nathan's world come crashing down.
