A/N: I was in my notes app one day and started writing and ten minutes later there's over a thousand words for the prologue.. safe to say I was hooked on my own concept. I will probably start publishing once I complete Act 1. I will publish chapters via their Acts. All together. So I have time to write a big chocked of a chapter and you can read what's already available. And I have no schedule to worry about. Win win.

And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.

This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. If you are confused about any of the characters in this story, please visit my OC book. I got the game for myself for the Switch and as I begin to start it up, things are starting to get better for me as I saw headphones, so I put them on and listen to some hard rock music. Will the world's strongest crocodile stop the Metal Virus or will it be the end of the world? ~~~~~Update~~~~~ Peace has been restored thanks to Vector and his Wisp Power. The race is still going on! They happen to find three people who are a team of three have joined the race and surely, they have the Metal Virus on them along with a new Wisp joining in on the race. New custom racetracks, new adventures and new friends have been unlocked and now the race continues! What can possibly go wrong?

(Y/N), a depressed girl. When (Y/N) was only a child, she would see her mother and father fight. But when she asks one of them, they would simply state it was just a misunderstanding and nothing was really wrong. Since she was so young back then, she believed their words. In school, she was always being bullied. She didn't want her mother to know, so she asked her dad for help. But his dad ignored and said they will soon stop. As (Y/N) grow up, she's slowly becoming aware of what's happening around her. Her parents would now frequently argue with each other than they used to before. Their fights only got worse as time passed. She didn't believe in their excuses anymore. She knew something was wrong. At that stage, she felt her own parents despise her. She can see and sense they didn't love her anymore. The bullying In school got physical. (Y/N) was depressed. She felt nothing but loneliness. One day (Y/N) was waiting for her father to get her in school, but no sight of him came. She decided to go home by herself knowing he might be busy due to his work. When she got home she saw the lights were off. It was oddly quiet too. She called her parents but no one responded. She then knew they had abandoned her. After her parents leave, she can only trust herself. She was only loved by herself. She learned how to survive everyday by herself. But luckily, some of her neighbors knew her situation and would make small helps. But despite that, her situation only made her more depressed. Knowing her parents won't come back for her anymore. Knowing she can never receive the love she always yearns.

They are still held back by their past traumas that keep them from being able to move on and become better. Not only that, new threats and dramas keep popping out of nowhere and just make life even harder. Sure, there are no demons in the story this time, but everyone still has their inner demons. No one is free from despair. Try as they might to change things, it will prove overbearingly difficult and could tear them a part for good.
