I wouldn't say giving up is the right thing to do. I didn't. But that is how I got to where I am today. But then, I was only a 17-year-old student dying to move on and get out of school. It was Maria. Just Maria. Not The Maria Louis yet, Just Maria. Just the student who had been going to Charlotte Brontë Institute longer than anyone else. Just Maria who let herself be picked on by James Luther. Just Maria who had the worst comebacks.
Oh, but If only they knew, what my comebacks would cause not even two semesters into the year.
