The Colors of Fate

Sayuki a 17 year-old japanese girl with a terminal heart condition, knows she has only six months left to live. For the pas two years, she has been in a long-distance relationship with Lay, a Chinese boy who moved to the U.S. at 8 years old. Despite stricts parents, financial difficulties, and the ocean separating them, Lay is determined to fly to Japan and be with her. However, fate intervenes, and Lay arrives just moments too late. As Lay navigates his grief, he holds on to the promise they shared: to live a life full of purpose and love, and to become Japan's most renowned painter in her honor.
