It's a wonderful day in Jamanakai city. Kai's plans for the day are to deliver a sword, get the loaded payment, buy necessities and potatoes to bake, go home, and take a rest. The last two have scratched off however, and it's all courtesy to this guy he comes across too; he's really tall, busting with muscles, owns a pretty pair of big eyes with green irises, and wears a damn charming smile. Everything goes upside down after that. Suddenly, before the gods could spare a blink, Kai is aboard a pirate ship with people he least expected to be with. Kai makes terrible plans, but this trip has got to be the worst yet as he literally fights for his life against one or two fellow mythical creatures. He's also fighting for his troubling heart, as the same guy who ruined his life never fails to skyrocket his heart rate through the sky, and churn his stomach like a towel being twisted into a rope. The first day they met was already stressful, let alone the following ones. Kaito never expected a night doing star maps to turn his life upside down. Especially after meeting an injured girl on his way home. This is the fantasy AU. This one was a bit tough for me to write I think because I am writing a setting that is in the medieval past whilst also giving it a steampunk feel too. I'm hoping that I didn't screw it up. There are scenes in the story that were inspired by many fantasy movies that I had seen such as "Stardust" and "Lord of the Rings". This is also cross posted from my account on Wattpad. Starting to worry if it's because of lack of sleep or something, KID starts observing the eight year old almost every day till one day, Conan goes 'home' and here steps in kudo shinichi to the stage. The characters don't belong to me, I'm just a kaishin fangirl contributing to this community.
