A normal girl called Emily is in high school, and it's probably the most difficult years of her life, her mental health has gotten bad over the years, but when she got into high school it got worse.
Struggling with self-harm and suicidal thoughts and all the judging looks from kids in school life isn't easy, but when a new girl joins the school, her life changes, and she feels something she has never felt for a girl before. Love. But her love to this girl isn't accepted by many, and Emily ends up meeting a lot of hate and threats from people, so she has to decide if she wants to follow her heart or let go of the girl and go back to her previous life.
This book is inspired my Kathleen Glasgow and her books, and my own experience with mental health and the struggles you can get for being an LGBTQ+ person.

⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️ PSA: I was in 8th grade when I wrote this and I believe it is very poorly done. Go ahead and read. I don't have the patience to rewrite. I have heard from several comments that it is funny so that is something to look forward to. MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS: I know there are several mentions etc of self harm. I believe there is also mention of sexual assault and the R word. There may also be mentions of EDs but I don't recall as I haven't read this story in years.
