A girl named May Middleston has run away from home. After being cursed by a black cat, special powers come to her. She has seven new main senses. Each one of her senses now changes her eye color. Everything is different. She is a species called 'Cecilian'. When she finds out her mom and step dad had another child not long after she was born, her anger breaks into sadness. Her sister, Kayla Middleston, has been sent out to kill May. She too, is a Cecilian. But Kayla has more than seven senses. She has 20. Upon learning of the younger siblings extra power, May cowers in fear. Will she fight back, or give in to the power of Kayla?
