Castiel Novak is a misfit of sorts, who wants to turn his life around after some trouble with the law. An avid dislike of the musician Dean Winchester is tested when his brother Gabriel wins a contest and gets to go on tour with the young star, and brings along Castiel as his plus one. After the tour ends, and they have all grown close, they move in together, Dean and Castiel, and Sam and Gabriel. But when Sam and Gabriel are in an accident, caused by Gabriel, Dean blames him and his brother, testing his relationship with Castiel like never before.
