The Seven Painites

Liasha Aurora lived with her grandfather until she was seven, but when her mother had a life-changing accident, Liasha moved back in with her parents. Seven years later, after her grandfather's death, the family moved into his old house. Strange things begin to happen when her father returns home, acting distant and uneasy. One day, while exploring her grandfather's belongings, Liasha finds a journal full of confusing letters. Before she can investigate further, a group of mysterious strangers arrives at the house, and her father panics, sending her to his office for safety.
But when Liasha opens the journal in her father's office, the room starts to shift, and she is suddenly transported to a strange building. From there she goes to an unknown world that she knows nothing of. Liasha starts to uncover secrets about her grandfather's past and realizes her family has been hiding more than she ever imagined. Along the way, she makes unlikely allies who help her navigate the new world, but with enemies lurking and danger closing in, can Liasha find the truth behind her grandfathers death and find her parents?
