Dragon Age: Inquisition Fanfic with a bit of my own twist to it!
She could dance, she could sing, and she could most certainly fight. Ferrea Thalassa Trevelyan was just 10 years old when she was kidnapped by a Witch while visiting family in Redcliffe. She was rescued by a young Drake and was taken back to his mate, The Ferelden Frostback Dragon. The High Dragon saw something special in her and was blessed, granted with some minor magic abilities, becoming the first Dragon Kin in 10,000 years, and was raised by her for several years, along with her mother that tracked her down after she went missing.
Now at the age of 23, she bares a rift closing mark on her hand and must save the world from an old evil that's threatening to destroy the world and everything she loves in it. She tries her best to hide as much of her past and minor magical abilities from the Inquisition and her companions, especially from a special ex-templar that causes her emotions to be all over the place. She has to focus, has to pretend, has to be the warrior that she was raised to be, but how far can she go before everything burns?

Naturally being a former Templar, his training demands he slay her before she becomes a threat, but something else within him just won't allow him to harm her. But when Tala's death comes after the destruction of Haven, it is only by the intervention of the Maker that Tala returns to the living, but it comes with a price. Veiled Lies and Half-Truths
This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically.
