In a city filled with chaos, Dazai Osamu is fighting his inner demons, and it's a battle he's losing. Haunted by his past and terrified of dragging the people he loves down with him, he often finds himself standing on the edge-literally and metaphorically. But everything changes when Chuuya Nakahara bursts into his life, bringing laughter, warmth, and a connection that feels like a lifeline.

As Dazai and Chuuya grow closer, they navigate the ups and downs of their messy lives together. There are moments of joy, teasing banter, and deep conversations that make Dazai feel like he might just have a shot at happiness. But the darkness never really goes away, and Dazai struggles to keep it from consuming him-and their relationship.

Started: June 6, 2023 Finished: July 23, 2024 Lyssophobia: Fear of going insane or mad. Osamu Dazai was a young man with a crippling fear of going insane or mad known as lyssophobia. This fear kept him away from socializing, so he decided to lead a more solitary life. With the pressures of his family he accepted to get a therapy. So he had no other choice but to open up to a stranger. However, a young man named Chuuya listened his story intently, accepted and understood him in a way he never thought was possible. Suddenly, talking to Chuuya didn't seem as daunting as it used too. No matter how many times his friends told Chuuya to stay away from Dazai, Chuuya already started to fall in love with him. He wanted to reach out to Dazai and hold him, but he knew it was not his place. After all they had nothing but a doctor-patient relationship. So, Chuuya had to keep his feelings to himself and continue to be a professional. However, Dazai also sensed that something had changed in their relationship. He had also found himself falling in love with Chuuya, but his lyssophobia held him back from expressing his emotions.
