Carson Sinclair wasn't the kind of person you would label as a model citizen. If anything, he was the furthest thing from a model citizen there was. He knew that very well, and so did his parents. Delinquent would be a more fitting word for him. He enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with his friends, partying, and having fun. He never gave much thought to the consequences of his actions, which often got him in trouble with the local police and caused his parents an endless amount of grief. Sure, his parents were always on his case about how he needed to act more mature for his age and set a better example for his younger siblings. He never listened to either of them though, and his attitude towards life never changed. But, the summer of his sophomore year is when his once carefree lifestyle is interrupted. After spending a night out on the town and being caught sneaking in by his parents, he's given an ultimatum. Either he could attend a summer camp a few hours away from home or he could spend the summer at a boot camp for troubled teenagers. Shocked and outraged by their choices, he tried to argue against either of those options. But, to his surprise, both of his parents stood by their decision. So, instead of enjoying the company of whoever he decided to bring home with him, he found himself riding a bus filled to the brim with nineteen other campers all headed off to spend the summer at Camp Whitlock. Begrudgingly, he went along with the counselors and other campers as they went on with their summer activities. Then, the first camper ends up dead. From there, it's only one tragedy after another. With a deranged psycho on the loose killing campers left and right, it's up to Carson, whether he likes it or not, to embrace his inner survivor if he wants to make it through the night or end up as yet another stained memory in Camp Whitlock's history.

[THIS IS A REWRITTEN VERSION OF THE OG] *** WARNING: Contains extremely triggering and mature content in almost every single chapter in this book, read at your own discretion. *** "That's not a fair deal." She whispered, more to herself than to me. "I know." "Sleep over but with no sex?" "No sex." I confirmed. She pursed her lips together and clenched her hands on the sides of the cabinet. Her eyes flitted over to the remains of two lines of ket. There was still a dusting of powder on the side. "Fine." One word. It was a miracle. I was certain she'd say no, but I'd wanted to try anyway. "No one can know." She reaffirmed. But as soon as those words were out she scraped the remaining powder onto her finger pads and snorted it. *** Cassie Moore is a walking mystery, but the ghosts of her childhood are neither glamorous nor intriguing. She is broken, and the perpetrator stays hidden in plain sight, taunting her with her very existence everyday at school. And one day, it all comes to a climax and her entire world shifts. This is a beautiful romance between two people who love each other more and more every day that goes by. Two people who better each other, a boy who sets a girl free. This is a journey between a girl and her emotions that are continually working against her. This is a tale of how two misfortunate people grow out and with each other in adversity.
