Eddie Munson started Hellfire Auto Repair because there wasn't an auto shop in Hawkins town limits. He bought a building that was connected to the town junkyard and made a name for himself that wasn't junior. He had more respect now than he had when he was in school because he was competent at his job and charged fair prices. He still didn't have the one thing he wanted though. He wanted someone to come home to at the end of a long day, but the dating pool was small seeing as how most people were with someone already.
Chrissy Cunningham graduated and married Jason Carver. The pair had a beautiful baby girl but a year and 10 months after she was born he took off leaving Chrissy to struggle on her own. Her parents decided to cut her off the day of her daughter's second birthday leaving her to scramble for a job. Which is how she ended up working at Hellfire auto. She missed having someone to come home to.
