"That's what my mother did to me. She sold me." I told him. "She sold me, she sold my soul. She sold every last aspect of self respect I could ever for myself for a few bucks." I smiled at him. "I can't blame my father for what he did."
The court was silent after my breakdown. The pictures were taken down, and I was left on the stand, leaning back into the chair with my legs lazily crossed and my posture horrible. I wiped the mascara under my eyes and then onto the cloth of the seat, seeing what the state had to say.
