Frost, an ordinary Arctic Fox, lived a peaceful life until a tragic accident left him on the brink of death. Rescued by the eccentric Dr. Starline, the scientist saw an opportunity to use Frost as the subject of his latest experiment. After countless failures and frustrations, Dr. Starline abandoned the project to pursue his true obsession: finding his idol, the infamous Dr. Eggman. A year later, in the silence of the forgotten lab, a malfunction released Frost from his stasis pod.

The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out. Honesty is the Best Policy! {w/Rosy} by HeartstheKitteh

This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. Shadow struggles with his feelings for Amy knowing well she doesn't reciprocate. Her love for Sonic was indestructible. However one mission at Eggmans base changed all of their lives forever. Has TRAGIC events... that may or may not be solved don't want to spoil! I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development.
