The shrill sound of the alarm clock was no match for the booming voice that followed. "Y/N! Get up, you're going to be late!" Her mum's voice echoed through the house, cutting through the morning silence like a knife.

Y/N groaned and pulled the covers over her head, trying to block out the noise. But her mum was relentless. "I mean it, young lady! You can't afford to miss another class!"

Footsteps pounded up the stairs, and within seconds, her bedroom door flew open. Her mum stood in the doorway, hands on her hips, her face a mix of frustration and concern. "Do you want to fail out of college? Because that's where you're headed if you don't get up right now!"

Y/N peeked out from under the covers, her eyes barely open. "Five more minutes," she mumbled, but her mum was having none of it.

"No more minutes! Get up, get dressed, and get moving!" Her mum's voice softened slightly, but the urgency remained. "I know it's tough, but you have to push through. Now, up!"

With a resigned sigh, Y/N threw off the covers and swung her legs over the side of the bed. Her mum gave a satisfied nod before turning to leave. "Breakfast is on the table. Don't dawdle."

As the door closed behind her, Y/N rubbed her eyes and stretched, the remnants of sleep slowly fading away. Another day, another battle with the alarm clock-and her mum.

In the midst of unwritten rules and unspoken emotions How do you fight for a love that's forbidden? Subin knows she shouldn't fall, but how do you unlove someone who keeps pulling you closer-only to push you away? Bound by rules, secrets, and a tangled web of emotions, she finds herself caught between what's right and what feels real. But when betrayal cuts deep and lines are crossed, can they still find a way back to each other-or are they destined to keep breaking each other apart? _ "Class dismissed," she said curtly, already organizing her things. I was just about to pack my stuff when I heard her voice again. "Chung Subin." I froze mid-motion, my hand hovering over my bag. Why is she calling me now? The entire class went quiet, their eyes bouncing between me and Ms. Lee. "Yes, ma'am?" I answered, standing up hesitantly. "Follow me," she said, her tone leaving no room for argument. She didn't even look at me as she slung her bag over her shoulder. "And carry this," she added, motioning to a stack of papers and a book she had left on her desk. I glanced at Woo-ri, who was giving me the most bewildered look. "Go," she mouthed silently, clearly curious but also worried. I walked over to Ms. Lee's desk, quickly grabbing her things. Turning to Woo-ri, I gave her a small wave. "I'll catch up with you later, Woo-ri," I said softly. "Go ahead without me." "You sure? Don't let her eat you alive!" she whispered dramatically, but I waved her off with a nervous smile. _ A professor and her student, drawn to each other in ways neither of them can explain. The boundaries are clear, but their emotions refuse to be ignored.

I was awakened by a buzz, but I don't want to get up, instead I lay still on my bed and about to dream again when I heard a THUD, I flinched at the sound. It's Saturday so I'm not expecting anyone at this early in the morning. I'm not a morning person, I am now annoyed to whoever it is. "Coming!" I yelled and started walking which took me sometime because I literally took my time, don't blame me I'm still sleepy, I opened the door to see a very beautiful woman, she has long wavy hair, thick eyelashes and pink pout lips and lastly... a body to die for. I frowned when I realized a high-school student? I can say because she's wearing a uniform. What is a beautiful high-school girl doing here knocking at my door? I asked mentally. I was about to ask her when she suddenly slipped inside my condo and sit on the couch cozily, I crossed my arms and face her still frowning. "Miss what are you doing here? What do you need?" I asked her curiously. She looked at me and smiled, a smile that can make men drool, but I'm not because I'm still annoyed. "I am your girlfriend" she said sweetly, my eyes widened in shock, I know I'm drunk last night but I don't remember having a girlfriend. I was about to say something when she stood up and face me leaning so much closer that were inches apart. "You wished for me, last night on the internet" oh crap! Now I remember! I was browsing the net when a certain ad captures my attention. "But I wished for a BOYFRIEND! Not a Girlfriend!!?" How do you handle a situation where there's NO REFUND and NO EXCHANGE? In the end, the journeys we take comprises of several things; a beginning, a middle, and an end. Sometimes we cannot even tell where one ends, and another begins... Kathryne Taylor is a senior in high school, just an ordinary girl who, in the eyes of her peers, is really quite the unfavorable character. But that's through no fault of her own. You see, Kathryne has issues; most of them stemming from her adamant desire to avoid what she believes is total bull. Adrian Black doesn't want to give two cents about what other people think, but he has to. After all, if he didn't, they might find out what he's hiding from everyone else, and that could be very bad for him indeed. It's not healthy to know a vampire after all. Even less so to be acquainted with a vampire noble, but they don't need to know that. What do these two have to do with each other? “Oi! Adrian, you done yet?” Kathryne yelled, banging her hand on the door. “You have muscles, don’t you?” ... “You stare at them all the time, don’t you?” I’d never understand why she was bothered when I caught her staring, but completely fine with me seeing her naked. Someone needed to get their priorities straight. When she didn’t reply to my comment, I gathered that she’d probably walked away from the door. So I flung the door open, not anticipating that she might still be standing there, fuming. The door rebounded back slamming shut with a loud thunk. Though the noise might have been more Kathryne falling to the ground than the door. “Kathryne, are you all right?!” Immediately rushing out of the toilet to make sure I hadn’t done any serious damage. “Dumbass!” She snarled, glaring at me. “Do I look O.K.?!” (Note: The Story is in Kathryne's Point of View at first)
