This AU will be not really a rewrite of the batfam's story, more of a what could've been in DC ever let us have an ounce of happiness. Lot's of batkid interactions, exploring different dynamic and expanding how Bruce is in and out of the suit.
This AU will be a collaborative effort between me and my friend, although i'll be doing the writing itself. If you'd ever want to suggest something you wanna see, just comment and we'll see what we can do.
This will be very slice of life for the most part with angst sprinkled around, because what would Batman fans be without eternal suffering and sadness.
I will try to stick to comic accuracy, but you know, every once in a while I'll add a headcanon in. Nothing world shifting.
This goes without saying, but I do not own any of these characters. So feel free to do whatever with this story!

If Walls Could Talk // JAYTIM (HOPELESS FOOLS #1)
Tim doesn't plan on talking with Jason when he goes to crime alley, because why on Earth would Red Hood be there, right? ("Stupid fucker" Tim thinks looking back) That was mistake number one. Mistake number two is actually pouring out his emotions to Jason about his family (Like how much he hates Bruce). His third mistake was not turning off his tracker which led to a very awkward confrontation the next day at work. Realistically he knows that he could've handled the whole situation better, but what's the fun in that? It's way more interesting to become friends with the guy you replaced, used to have a crush on and stalked BETRAYING Bruce. To add to that he gets so high that he forgets his feelings until forever. Procrastination at its finest. The best part (but Tim's least favorite part) is that everyone knew about his feelings that he himself didn't know, but they were completely oblivious to how much he was hurting, except Jason.
