It been three months since the Blue Paladin went missing in battle. Three months since team Voltron lost their friend. Three months since it felt like the stars had dimmed without his presence.
Lance's communications cut out in the middle of a battle with the Galra. No one had been watching him or seen him since the battle started, and when the battle had finished they had all landed on a small lush planet nearby, but Lance hadn't come out.
When they had looked at his Lion, there had been a large hole blown through the side of her head, and no pilot.
Now, with the Galra getting more powerful the search for the Cuban boy had dwindled and everyone felt his disappearance much more.
But a new group of rebels seemed to have risen from the tides of war and begun fighting. The team could tell they were advanced as they would save planets the team could not get to in time. They didn't have a name, but their victorys were known all across the universe.
Allura decided an alliance with them would be best.

Alright, let's go along some stuff before we get started.
1. This is my first actual book, but I'll take whatever help you'll give me if your not mean.
2. I'm mainly winging this. I have no idea how it will turn out.
3. I'm a new writer. The only thing I've written is reports for school and some one shots I used as practice.
5. This will probably be short or discounted if I give up, but I do want to do this. I won't probably leave this unfinished, but if I want to get done fast it will probably be rushed at the end.
Also, please read the first chapter cuz that's where all the warnings and the into is.
And the cover art is not mine. It says it belongs to thesearchingastronaut I dunno where they are though. If I'm told to take it down I will.
Also, I know the Voltron fandom is basically dead, but screw it, i can write a book if I wanna. Enjoy the book if you decide to read!

When the Stars Aligned
After the war ended and peace was brought to all the universe. It had been years since the end of a war filled past and now it was time for everyone to finally move on all except for one paladin who still clung to his past. Lance had been spreading the legacy Allura left behind when she passed and never had a day passed where he didn't miss her, but a dream reveals he needs to move on and live his life. Unsure of what to do he remembers when a certain moody mullet head confessed his love the same night he confessed his love for Allura. Determined to see whether those sparks still glimmered for him he decides to speak with Keith about a past left untouched. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story. Book Two of the Hold On series. And once again, shit has happened. If you haven't read Hold On I Still Need You, GO READ IT!!! ... Did you read it? ... (Technical Difficulties) ○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○ Now, after everything that happened with Keith and Shiro, Lance has started to drift away despite everyone's best efforts. He hardly to speaks with anyone. Lance spending most of his free time hiding in Red, which is quite often. Red refusing to let anyone in without food or Lance's okay. The team begins to fear that without Keith he might not ever speak again... Keith is living in Hell. Not the Biblical one, but a Hell for his mind and his body. Every day he's tested. Slowly nearing his breaking point. That is until he finds his metaphorical Doors of Death. (HoO anyone?) As Keith starts his odyssey to get out of Galra territory Red and Blue make a startling discovery, forcing team Voltron into an even more vulnerable state. They recruit the other Lions to help them in their mission as well as trying to protect the remaining Paladins and hold the line from the Galra. Meanwhile, Blue is struggling to bond with Allura while her heart and bond are still cemented with Lance. "I agree, my friend," She said, pulling away from the hug. She grasped my hand and brought me closer to the Paladins. "Paladins, this is an old friend of mine. Her name is Olesya Elrod." ------------------------------ Meet Olesya Elrod, an Altean and Galra half-blood. Join her on her latest mission for the Blade of Marmora. A mission to sneak into the Castle of Lions and gather information on the Paladins. Also, did I fail to mention she's Zarkon's forgotten adopted daughter? Toumia
After barely fighting off a fleet of Galra ships, Voltron lands on the planet Toumia that is surrounded by three suns, humbly expecting thanks, gratitude, and food. Not necessarily in that order. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird. Hang with me, it'll all make sense by chapter sixteen. Maybe fifteen. I haven't written that far out yet. And just as a forewarning: in this, I will be doing several play-on-word jokes that may seem offensive. THEY ARE NOT.
