Pokémon sword: The Gym Leaders Apprentices!

This is just for fun, a little fanstory I suddenly had the idea for!

The premise is: After Opal went through the motions of finding herself an apprentice to take over, the other gym leaders realized they'd need one as well someday. Rather than everyone waiting until they're older and worn out, they thought of a fun way to challenge some trainers and find themselves apprentices!

Thus begins: The Tournament!

We follow four adolescent trainers working hard with their respective Pokémon types to win the tournament and be chosen to train as the next gym leaders.

Meanwhile, something quite terrible is brewing beneath the surface...
