Gladiator

Erica is supposed to be the perfect princess, especially after her mother was killed by a dragon and she was left as the sole heir of the Five Lands. But she is anything but. She wants to be a gladiator. To be able to take revenge on the creatures that have killed and slaughtered, dragons. But then one day she is confronted with a dragon like no other, the intelligence in its eyes brings her to question everything she had ever known. Erica embarks on a long and wildly illegal journey to bring back this dragon to where it belongs. She brings along the most unlikely of companions, a boy she has sworn to hate. This journey changes everything in her mind, who she loves, and what she believes in. She begins to realize that what she has been told her whole life could be wrong, and she starts to unravel the webs of conspiracy around the dragon species and her own family, along the way she is just possibly falling in love. But it's a dangerous world, will she be able to save her dragon before it's too late? After all, they're dangerous demons stalking the land. And it wants her and her dragon dead.
