Libby Hale is a werewolf. Suffice to say, life was never simple.
When Libby and Derek find their way back to Beacon Hills, they come across threats they didn't know existed, make friends with people they never thought they'd find, and fight to survive because that's what the Hale family does. They fight till they die.
*At its core, this is a family/character-oriented story. There will be a romance subplot, but it will only take place after character healing/development, and deeper into the seasons. That is to say, a SLOW-BURN. Libby's character faces a debilitating trauma response that she must work out through her family, friends, and self. If you want something light-hearted, I suggest you find another work to connect with. This piece is not for the faint of heart.*
*In this story, I will explore the aspects of active and past grief, trauma, and loss through the development of Libby Hale's character and her relationships. This story will be heavy in self blame and emotional distancing. This trauma will never really heal in her character, but she will grow and progress as a person and in her relationships. **I would like to state clearly, I am not a professional, nor am I well versed in any of these themes. If they are portrayed poorly or incorrectly, please come to me in a kind and positive manner and I will be open for criticism or explanation for my thought processes.** If any of this is triggering to you, feel free to exit this page and find another story. Thank you for your consideration. Protect your peace, but don't fear the uncomfortable. For in discomfort, there is growth.*
Victoria Silks finds herself falling into a very misinterpreted contract with a very rich and, not to forget, handsome young man.
'Wives for hire' is a very successful business run by a woman, Mrs Welling who had started solo at first at the age of twenty one. This company doesn't allow any form of prostitution and clearly, this was the perfect fit for Victoria, having to pretend to be a wife or a fiancée of any man without any sexual relations, as it may destroy the company's image, was just right.
But this was proven otherwise.
Victoria having stepped right into the job receives her first mission to become the wife of a rich CEO for ten months in order to impress his excited parents. Excited, she readily signs the papers only to discover too late that she would have to get pregnant with his child as part of the contract. She reluctantly agrees but soon learns she won't be a part of the life after ten months. She would have to give up on their child and accept money as a return.
After being forced, she accepts the offer and gets pregnant.
Now only time will tell if she really is just a contract wife. Or something else to this young and handsome CEO.
