Ida's life is shattered when Tapfian invaders brutally murder her parents, leaving her with deep emotional scars. She is taken in by the Krause family, who offer her shelter and support. As she navigates life in Frida, Ida faces constant discrimination and prejudice, both for being different-looking and for her traumatic past. With the war escalating, Ida forms close bonds with friends like Wren and Anna, but the shadows of the past and the ongoing conflict loom large over her future.
