This fanfic is just basically the storyline of Green Days' most popular album, American Idiot. From the start of the album with their first song: American Idiot all the way to the end of their last song: Whatsername.

What the album/storyline is about is it starts with this character named Jesus of Suburbia. he lives in a suburban town with his mom, but he doesn't feel like he belongs there anymore. So he moves to the city and creates this alter ego named Saint Jimmy that isn't afraid of the rules like Jesus was. Saint Jimmy then meets this rebel called, Whatsername. They start dating, and then she breaks up with him. Jimmy then k!lls himself at the bay by using a gun, Jesus is now back and returns home to his mom, and that's the ending of the storyline/album.
