~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 4, BOOK 1~
*This novel serves as the 1st novel of Phase 4 and a sequel to "Powerhouse".*
"I thought you cared for your country, Powerhouse.....? That you wanted to see it prosper? To see it free of taint and contamination? Then why do you safeguard this child? This.....illegal alien.....who threatens to poison the precious blood of our beloved country? You are nothing more than a treasonous pig.....and I shall bring you to justice." -Special Agent Warren Schaefer
The year is 2024, and the population of Earth has been struggling to recover from the massive ramifications of Galaxara's decimation of the planet following their miraculous rescue at the hands of the serpentine superheroine Hailey a.k.a. The Viper. As humanity pulls together to rebuild from their traumatized world, the Paragons and their allies are doing their part to help as well, assisting wherever they can and promptly stopping those who would try to take advantage of the less fortunate.
The Paragon James Markovsky a.k.a. Powerhouse has returned to his stint as an employee at the security firm Lockdown Inc., which his mother Susan Markovsky is the CEO of; he also occasionally hangs out with Elise Fornwright---the mother of his late friend Fritz Fornwright---and is also obviously continuing his tenure as a superhero in his home city of Seattle, Washington.
However, the prosthetic-armed hero is soon met with a challenge when a new and mysterious archer named Archwave shows up outside of his house one evening, and he gets caught up in protecting the heroine from a government manhunt initiated against her for reasons which are initially unknown. Further complicating matters is the increasing prominence of graffiti around the city, with rumors spreading that a gang known as Spraywatch may be responsible.....

You will give everything to me, for I'm.....your Mastermind." -Maxwell "Max" Atkins a.k.a. Mastermind Half a year after the official formation of The Paragons and Malcorchus's defeat, Herman, one of The Viper's close friends, is reaping the benefits of having saved the planet at large, obtaining renowned fame while regularly protecting his home city of Mercury Heights alongside her, Dr. Duncan Drevis, The Crawler, and Duncan's sister, Monica Drevis, a.k.a. Shocker. However, trouble soon arises after several law enforcement officers start going missing across the country before later turning up dead, resulting in police departments experiencing severe staff shortages. To make matters worse, grave-robbing incidents have started to become more prominent across the U.S., drawing the suspicion of many. Commissioner Marvin, the commander of the Mercury Heights Police Department, has begun looking into the case, recruiting Herman for aid as well. But for the most part, they are on their own; with The Viper, Dr. Duncan Drevis, The Crawler, and Shocker all away on a different mission in the Rusted Citadel, it now falls to Herman, Commissioner Marvin, Giorgio Carlisle, and the newly-recruited Officer Didi to bring "Mastermind" to justice and end his twisted crusade against police officers everywhere, before even more members of law enforcement perish under the might of his misguided conquest. • Cover designed by @CastimentComplete

Some people call her Death, some call her a myth. But she's very real. And very pissed. Her new job is to kill her sworn enemy Dean Warren, giving her boss Derek Dawson monopoly of the Peak. Her knowledge of four languages - Italian, English, Spanish and French - will give her an excuse to go undercover as Dean's new interpreter, thanks to the unfortunate passing of his old one. Though, what happens when the truth of their secretly entwined past comes out just as they find out they'll have to work together against a greater threat? Neither of them is a saint.
