Hi! This is my first work so it might not be the best, but if you are looking for a cute Kiribaku story to read before bed then you have (hopefully) come to the right place! I apologize because at the time of writing this I don't have a cover for it yet, I will try to find one. Thanks for starting to read this, it means the world :)
You should know that there will be spoilers for some of season 5 and beyond. There is also some swearing.

Bakugo begins to feel inferior and voices whisper inside his head. He has kept up his facade for a while now, making sure there are no imperfections, no way to see through it. But what happens when problems rise to the surface and tip him over the edge? Will he finally open up to people or will he suffer in silence? Trigger warnings/ normal warnings -Self hate -Self harm -depressing thoughts -blackmail -throwing up -bad sleeping habits -swearing(bc it's bakugou ofc) Please note that I'm not in anyway trying to make fun of this stuff nor offend people they are serious issues that people struggle with and if you are struggling with any of these I advise for you to seek help and always feel free to vent in the comments. This story will contain kiribaku(fluff), it will start off platonic and will end romantic, but it will NOT take over the main story its more of a sub plot. Also because kiri will try help Bakugo. Some characters might be out of character at times so I apologise for that. All characters don't belong to me, they belong to horikoshi. The only thing I own is the plot.

He smelled mildly of cinnamon. I don't know how, probably the hair gel, but it was pleasant. He fell asleep pretty much instantly, and I started to slowly stroke his hair. There was something peaceful about the way his chest went up and down with every soothing breath. He was so quiet. I moved my hand from his hair to cup his cheek. He had to ask if I hated him. I let go of his cheek and whispered, hoping that somehow he would hear. "How could I hate you when you're so affectionate?" Silence. Complete silence other then his sleeping breaths. I placed my hand over his that was resting on his thigh. I gently squeezed it and wondered if he would ever understand what I feel. And with that, I leaned my head onto his, and slept. - ***COMPLETE*** Started: August 27, 2020. First published: October 18, 2020. Finished: July 24, 2021. Last Published: November 22, 2021. Disclaimers I guess: - This is a bxb. Don't read if you don't like that. - There is no smut because I need to have some pride in my writing lol. This story consists of mostly fluff.
