Centuries before the first pharaohs, when the great kingdoms had not yet been born, primitive tribes constituted the first societies in the valleys of the great rivers Nile, Euphrates and Tigris, in Anatolia and on the edge of deserts and mountains.
Sedentary villages existed millennia before agriculture and the domestication of animals, inhabited by hunter-gatherer clans, who practiced a nomadic life only when climatic changes affected the resources of their territory.
These people organized communities that maintained an intense trade in the middle of the Stone Age, exchanging the most diverse products, sometimes transported more than two thousand kilometers from their place of origin without the help of any animal, navigating rivers and seas.
Before pottery, before the spread of the use of copper, before the domestication of the horse, before the plow... complex societies of hunters collected wild cereals to make wheat and barley flour, drank beer, consumed bread... and erected sanctuaries and temples, which archaeology has only just begun to discover.
At the dawn of time, the first chapters of human history took place at a time when only one animal had been domesticated: the dog.
However, mankind was not left to its own devices, powerful gods watched... and sometimes intervened.

The Roman Empire began to decline after Germanic tribes crossed the river Rhine in 406 CE. When Constantine III recalled the legions from Britain, three years later, the Angles and Saxons invaded and Britain became known as Angleland. The Visigoths sacked Rome in 410. The Vandals invaded north Africa in 429 and conquered Carthage before crossing the Mediterranean to sack Rome in 455 CE. Meanwhile, Christianity grew from a minor Hebrew religious cult to dominate much of Europe. With the continual violence, people reverted to a poorer lifestyle. However, the metal workers, glass blowers, carpenters, leather workers, rope makers, weavers, potters and farmers developed more efficient horse drawn plows, improved crop yields, build better boats and the first engineers designed water wheels to irrigate crops, grind seeds and saw wood. They invented wooden barrels, wagon wheels and windmills as the Chinese invented paper and printing. Meanwhile, the Indians revolutionized mathematics and Moslems discovered chemistry. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

Traditional methods of studying the past have always given greater importance to nationalist, religious and moral interests, which subordinated the historical fact to the System point of view. That's how we have been educated. The time has come to simplify and show respect for our ancestors, striving to know what really happened in the past, and not just what they want to inform us about. After so many years of studying History, I came to the conclusion that the best study system is through an impartial, objective Chronology that just put each event in its exact place in time, revealing History without manipulation. In parallel, the chronology is complemented by data that do not belong to a specific date, but to an entire epoch, they are each society generalities, curiosities, customs, the religion of each civilization, inventions or discoveries that cannot be placed in an exact date, etc. The result is one of the most complete chronologies within its reach, periodically updated with the latest archaeological and scientific discoveries, and that transforms the reader into an eyewitness of the past, understanding the relation of geographically distant facts to each other, but closely connected in time and influencing unexpected consequences. This is something that traditional history has generally ignored when it was not usable. The chronology goes from prehistory to the present day year by year, as far as possible. For those who prefer a deeper and more detailed study, I have prepared a second chronology, day by day, which for now covers from 1789 to 1946, divided into five collections.

At 21, Kea (kay), as he was nicknamed by his family, learned to lip read since he was young. his speech was normal as it could get making it almost impossible to tell that he is clinically deaf. during one of their visits with his father to one of their allied pack, he smelled the most sweetest sunshine, if ever sunshine could ever have a scent. Maybe his mate could lift him out of his own darkness. Liam, as he was called, was sold to a pack when he turned 7 by whom he once called father. he was told that he would be a servant there and do everything his alpha would tell him to. no questions asked. having been banned to ever talk or make a peep make you really loose your voice. he didnt even remember what his own voice sounds like and when was the last time he ever said a full sentence without being slapped. getting in and out of consciousness, he inhaled the most refreshing scent he ever smelled before - rainforest with a hint of strawberry. how he wish he could eat a strawberry that day since its his birthday. so much for wishfull thinking.

The arms race began in Mesopotamia with the invention of composite bows, light chariots and crossbows. The Persian (Iranian) emperor tried to conquer Athens in 480 BCE but was delayed by the Spartans at Thermopylae while Greek warships destroyed the Persian fleet. The Macedonian ruler, Alexander the Great, completely destroyed the Persian armies by 326 BCE and established the Greek empire. Then, between 600 and 200 BCE, a few hundred Greeks revolutionized science, mathematics, medicine, engineering, history, law and philosophy. Meanwhile, Greeks settlers in Sicily were in conflict with Rome and, by first century BCE, Romans had conquered Greece, Egypt, Carthage and the old Persian empire. Roman traders made large profits using the Silk Road between Rome, China and India and which created higher incomes though out the Roman empire. Roman engineers built more than 80,000 km of roads throughout the empire and 800 km of aqueducts in Rome delivered a million cubic metres of water each day. Pythonpaw thought she had a family, life and purpose in DuneClan, the fierce clan of warriors who survive in a harsh environment fraught with dangers. But when a traumatic incident leaves her ruthlessly wounded, her entire life is shattered. Suddenly, she is the outcast of her clan, no longer allowed to be a warrior... _____________________________ I tried to keep my head high as I limped into the clearing. My head throbbed faintly, alongside the tenderness of the puncture wound on my foreleg. The entirety of DuneClan seemed to be gathered around a large central rock, where the clan leader was seated. They're all looking at me. "You can't seriously be doing this to her!" A growl sounded from the back of the crowd. "She's just a kit!" "She's cursed," Pricklestar said flatly. "We all know how deadly snakes are, and now she has the venom of one running through her veins. How could a cat like her ever be a warrior?" _____________________________
