A small town rests on the edges of a great dark forest.
The town is old. The forest is older.
Tales have passed through generations about what lives in the trees. The townspeople never enter and there are whispers of a great darkness. It is well known that wanderers never return.
Not far away, a young woman draws a link to a forgotten fairytale. Michaela Winters is about to discover something extraordinary about herself. She also knows that this town is real. She knows the woods are real. She's been dreaming about them.
But discovery comes with enemies and pulling all the strings is something even darker than the secret in the woods. Michaela must step quickly into a world she never knew existed if she wants to survive out here in the dark.
