"How dare you let another woman sit on our bed?" Her voice was low, vibrating with rage. "I will fucking burn the whole bed with her body shot to death."

A slow smile spread across my lips. Her voice was filled with possession.

God help me but despite the hate, I loved her like this.

Without breaking eye contact, I reached for the gun, my fingers grazing her fingers before the cool metal.

Her grip faltered for the slightest second at my touch.

I took advantage.

With one swift motion, I flipped our positions, pinning her against the wall.

The barrel of my gun pressed under her chin, forcing her to meet my gaze.

"Do you really think I'm scared of this?" I murmured.

She smirked.

The kind of smirk that drove men insane.
