Before D-16 can kill him Airachnid escapes the communications tower and shoots D-16 making him stumble and she uses that chance to grab Sentinel and she takes him to the surface to hide out.

They escape from level fifty and board a train, but their journey is cut short by a tragic accident. Guided by the coordinates of Alpha Trion, they arrive to witness the tragic fate of the Primes. Sybil is devastated to discover the truth and D-16's anger grows. Starscream kidnaps the group and is nearly killed by D-16. Sybil regains consciousness and finds Sentinel Prime, now a powerful tyrant. She tries to stop him, but her pleas are ignored. Orion and Elita arrive just in time to witness D-16's descent into madness. D-16 attacks Sentinel and kills him. Sybil is devastated and Orion, now Optimus Prime, fights Megatron. Sybil confesses her feelings for Optimus and the Autobots decide to remain on Iacon while Megatron and the Decepticons leave. (I just said almost the entire movie 😂)
