Fans, interviewers, even the actors themselves were astonished with the director, Sean Fritz's creativity and attention to detail along with his storytelling. Seemingly nobody has a clue that this film is merely a mirror to his very life and actions he performed, with the ending being how he planned to finish things for good.

This is further proven by the sudden appearance of enhanced individuals nicknamed "Blights," which single-handedly explains the general consensus about them. Hated and oppressed, Blights have had their backs against the wall for decades. Teenager Liam Wang must learn how to juggle both his civilian life and the life of his super-powered, crime-fighting persona "Narukami" and all that comes with it.
