The canonical world of Murder Drones is a place filled with intrigue and mystery, as any thriller should. However, the writer of the series chose not to expand the story any further, which caused the at times overwhelming resentment in the fandom of the beloved indie series.

And this story is... about an angsty fan from a questionably weird, cringeworthy world. Then finding her way into the world of Murder Drones, she tries to change everything to her own liking. Which she believes suits the series better.

But what about the original writer's work? Should it be simply discarded? Altered in a way that doesn't suit him? This is his creation.

The question really is,
Do the fans or the writers get to decide the plot?
